Copying Flowkash projects

Overview

Cashflow workings can be copied to:

  • The next reporting period within the same company; or
  • A new company altogether.

In both cases, the user must be authorised to access the copy project feature for the company concerned, either as the owner of the company, or as a colleague (i.e.,x Flowkash team member) of the owner of the company.

Accessing the copy project feature

To copy a project, click the settings ("Settings, copy, delete") icon at the top right, the select the copy option of your choice.

When "Copy to new company" is selected, you will also be required to select which company the new project should be created within:

Copying a project to a new reporting period

When you copy a project to a new reporting period:

  • A new project will be created for the new reporting period, within the same company
  • Income statement and balance sheet figures will be rolled forward; and
  • Adjustments will be retained, but with placeholder values (i.e., 1 or -1, depending on whether the original adjustment amount was positive or negative).

Copying a project to a different company

When you copy a project to a different company:

  • A new project will be created for the same reporting period, within the company chosen by the user
  • Income statement and balance sheet amounts will be set to nil throughout, however, all line items will be retained
  • Adjustments will also be retained, but with placeholder values (i.e., 1 or -1, depending on whether the original adjustment amount was positive or negative).

Flowkash is framework-agnostic, however the language used in the app is drawn from IFRS.

The change only takes effect on the date that your existing subscription is due to expire.

If you'd like to access the features of the new plan immediately, you will need to go to the subscriptions management page and process a once-off payment that will cover the intervening period.

As with subscription upgrades, the change only takes effect on the date that your existing subscription is due to expire. You will continue to have access to the plan you are downgrading from in the intervening period.

When you cancel a subscription, we stop collecting payments immediately, and you can’t reactivate it. You will be able to access and modify your work under the current subscription until it lapses .

Your Flowkash user account will be cancelled 60 days after your subscription lapses.

Afterwards, to continue using Flowkash you will have to purchase a new subscription
